Termin-8R® is a MULTI-FUNCTIONAL product. It has been formulated to replace single use products including penetrating fluids, spray lubes, Dielectric grease, corrosion inhibitors, contact cleaners, battery terminal spray, anti-seize sprays, chain & cable lubricants and moisture eliminators.
WHAT GOOD IS THIS DIELECTRIC FEATURE OF TERMIN-8R®?
Corrosion on electrical components results in short circuiting and interruption of current flow. Termin-8R®'s high Dielectric formula allows Termin-8R® to be applied safely to electrical surfaces including control panels, circuit boards and switches, sockets, lighting and electric motors. Termin-8R®'s anti-corrosion capabilities and Dielectric formula actually improve current flow.
WHAT IS THIS FLUID THIN FILM COATING (FTFC) TECHNOLOGY THAT TERMI-8R® FEATURES?
Termin-8R's FTFC formulation allows the product to migrate across metal surfaces into cracks, seams, lap joints, rivets and so forth ensuring that corrosion in these hard to reach areas is attacked effectively and future corrosion is prevented.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TERMIN-8R® AND THOSE OTHER RUST PROOF PRODUCTS?
Rust proofing products are generally barrier coatings. This means that the product is applied to the surface, preventing electrolysis which is process of moisture and air reacting on metal creating rust. Unfortunately, barrier coatings trap existing surface moisture under the coating and permit the corrosion process to continue. Termin-8R®'s FTFC formulation contains a water eliminator that lifts moisture off the surface and out of the corrosion cell. Termin-8R® also attacks existing rust to clean the surface before laying down a high tech anti-oxidant film that prevents future corrosion.
IS TERMIN-8R® SAFE TO USE AROUND ENGINE SENSORS AND PLA STIC PARTS?
Termin-8R® has a very low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) formulation. The low VOC means that, unlike solvent based lubricants that are prone to rapid evaporation. Termin-8R® provides long lasting surface protection and will not harm rubber, silicone or plastic surfaces or sensor components.
HOW SAFE IS TERMIN-8R® ON THE ENVIRONMENT?
Termin-8R® is environmentally friendly. Termin-8R®'s low VOC and non-CFC propellant ensures minimal environmental impact in daily use.
CAN I USE TERMIN-8R® IN NON-AUTOMOTIVE APPLICATIONS?
Termin-8R® should be used wherever you want to reduce friction, remove rust or prevent ongoing corrosion. Use it on chains, cables, battery terminals, door locks and hinges, garage door rollers, bicycle gears and chains, sliding windows and doors, cleaning metal surfaces. Also use Termin-8R® on your recreational vehicles including ATVs, Snowmobiles, Jet-Skis, Sail boats and Power boats, even fishing reels. The lubricating opportunities for Termin-8R® are almost unlimited.
